Syfy Renews "Van Helsing" for 4th Season
"Van Helsing" Renewed for Season 4 at Syfy with New Showrunner
by Nellie Andreeva December 18, 2018 Ahead of "Van Helsing’s" Season 3 finale on Dec. 28, the vampire series has been renewed for a 13-episode fourth season. The pickup comes with a change at the helm as the drama’s writer-executive producer Jonathan Walker takes over as showrunner from Neil LaBute. Production is expected to begin early next year. “Having been in the writing room on Van Helsing since Season 1 I’m excited to take the reins as showrunner from Neil LaBute,” Walker said in a statement. “Season 4 will delve deeper into the iconic lore of the vampires and their ultimate goals for this world. New villains will rise along with unexpected heroes joining the fight.
