Netflix Announces 4 Episode Ted Bundy Series
Ted Bundy True Crime Series Coming to Netflix
by Rick Porter Dec. 11, 2018 Netflix is adding another true-crime series to its roster, this time focusing on notorious serial killer Ted Bundy. The streaming service, home to "Making a Murderer", "The Keepers" and numerous other crime docuseries, will premiere "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes" on Jan. 24. The date is exactly 30 years after Bundy was executed for the 1978 murder of Kimberly Leach. "Conversations With a Killer", from Emmy winner Joe Berlinger (Paradise Lost), will feature previously unheard audio of interviews with Bundy while he was on death row in Florida. The four-episode series will also detail Bundy's killings — he was convicted of or confessed to murdering more than 30 women in the 1970s — and the media frenzy around his trials, including the adoration of a number of women and his in-court marriage to Carole Ann Boone, who was testifying on his behalf. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/li...etflix-1168441 |

This sounds interesting. I remember watching the movie The Deliberate Stranger with Mark Harmon as Ted Bundy back in the 80's. And then reading the book The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule. So I'll want to watch this for sure.

There's also the 2002 movie, Bundy, starring Michael Reilly Burke. Some people don't like it for its dark humor tone, but I find it to be one of the better serial killer flicks. |

I definitely will be watching this.
I know the sister of one of Ted Bundy's victims. My parents went to the funeral in 1975. I wasn't born yet when this all went down but it still hits very close to home. |

But there's been TOO much Bundy since then. It's not like there's some new breaking news! He's been dead 30 years! |

Netflix Wants Audiences to Stop Lusting after Ted Bundy
by Amanda Bell Jan. 29, 2019 People are talking about Netflix's chilling new docuseries "Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Files" — but the streaming service has noticed a disturbing trend in the chatter around the series' subject, real-life serial murderer Ted Bundy. Apparently, some viewers are focused on his looks. To be fair, Bundy's supposed charm has long been a talking point in conversations around his killing spree, with some people suggesting that his persona played a role in how he was able to conceal his inner evil from victims and authorities alike. It's not like this discussion is a new one. Even so, the streaming service is disturbed by online reactions to Bundy in the docuseries. On Monday, the official Netflix Twitter account addressed the issue, writing, "I've seen a lot of talk about Ted Bundy's alleged hotness and would like to gently remind everyone that there are literally THOUSANDS of hot men on the service - almost all of whom are not convicted serial murderers." https://www.tvguide.com/news/netflix-ted-bundy-tweet/ |
