It would have been so simple. Since Miss Landers didn’t even collect the homework until the end of the day couldn’t Beaver have copied his homework at lunch time on a piece of paper? He would have had his own homework back.

Also why punish Beaver for not having his homework the first time. He always had his homework.

I wonder why Miss Landers was collecting homework at 2:58. Naturally, Judy reminded her to do it. Mrs. Rayburn probably would have said to Beaver, "Make sure to have it tomorrow, without fail."

I liked how Ward wanted to let them grow up a little. I'm not sure a real Larry would have owned up to it, especially in front of the whole class.
