Target Commercials from 1977

While doing some commercial research I discovered rare commercials for Target from 1977 that appeared to be broadcasted in Minnesota only. The commercial starts with an actual target and mentions some brands not featured in Target today including a women's clothing section called Lady Targe "Note that this now defunct clothing brand is probably where Target's popular pronouncement and nickname "Tarjay" came from" The second Target commercial from 1977 is virtually the same as the first commercial but the end features a swooshing sound of an dart hitting the target. It's amazing that since these commercials were aired that Target really had a wonderful image and great stuff during the 70's and 80's that makes it different than the Target commercials and Target's image today
