I only wish is right. There isn't one that I am aware of, we were just speculating a while back that if there was one, who would we like to get to star in it. A friend of mine has a fantastic idea for a storyline screenplay, tho! ![]() |

Well, I don't believe there was a movie like that in the works, but maybe if people keep mentioning it......
![]() I do know that Freddie Jr wanted to be Spiderman. He almost had the role because he was friends with either the director or the producer, but which ever one wasn't his friend came back and said no that he didn't have the right look. Just thought you might like to know that!

I had read that about Jr wanting to be in SPIDERMAN awhile back. I recently read in an ENQUIRER type paper where he accidently hit Sarah Michelle Gellar in his sleep. Evidently they sleep together & he had a bad nightmare & accidently hit her in his sleep.
I did read somewhere awhile back where they wanted to do a movie on Freddie & have Jr play him but Jr didn't want to do it. Laz would be perfect for the role. Speaking of the name Lazaro, in re-reading Freddies Mom's book it said that the other guy that was up against Freddie & Isaac Ruiz for the role of Chico was a guy named Lazaro Perez... |

Lazaro, huh? It's been sooo long since I read the book that I had forgotten that! Our friend Laz would be perfect to play Freddie if a more balanced movie about his life or a "Chico and the Man" movie were ever put into production! Having seen him portray Freddie onstage, I can say he has captured our Prinze's look and personality quite well! (If he had only had a better wig LOL--but I am sure for a movie that could be arranged!)

A goofy idea for the plot of this hypothetical movie:
A busy, yuppie-type young man in a new BMW gets lost in East Los Angelos and ends up in a Barrio, and his car breaks down not too far from a place called Ed Brown's Garage. This Barrio is a strange but groovy place, and the natives seem to be stuck in a time warp from the 70's. The young man's cell phone mysteriously stops working. He steps into Ed's garage for some assistance with his car, and meets Ed and Chico, and the fun begins! He is in a hurry, and outraged with Ed and the gang's laid-back style and the out-of-date garage & lack of modern car parts.. By the time the young man's car is repaired, he has finally learned to chill out and have fun with the cool gang at Ed Brown's Garage! He tries to go back there weeks later, but try as he might, he can't find it! It's as if it dissapeared! Now, if in a couple of years, a movie comes out just like that, you'll have to pick my jaw up off the floor!

That would make a good plot not only for a movie but for a fan fiction!
Any writers wanna tackle that one?
