Cool Katy Perry Tops Forbes Highest Paid Women in Music (2018)

1. Katy Perry ($83 Million)

One of the hardest-working names on the list, Perry played 80 dates of her Witness: The Tour during our scoring period, grossing over $1 million per night.

She also managed to find time to serve as a judge on ABC's "American Idol" reboot, reportedly earning north of $20 million for her troubles.

2. Taylor Swift ($80 Million)

Her new album, Reputation, sold 2 million copies its opening week.

Now Swift is cashing in with a stadium tour that will take her from Tampa to Tokyo.

3. Beyonce ($60 Million)

Beyonce had a relatively quiet year after welcoming twins.

That changed in April with her groundbreaking Coachella performance, followed in June by the launch of 'Everything Is Love' — her first-ever joint album with husband Jay-Z — and another marital stadium tour, On The Run II.

4. Pink ($52 Million)

It pays to be Pink. The songstress has been grossing seven figures per stop on her Beautiful Trauma Tour as she winds through North America and Oceania.

Pink's identity as a pop outsider solidified her fan base of former rebellious teens who now pack arenas to see her perform.

5. Lady Gaga ($50 Million)

Adding “movie star” to her résumé — thanks to a critically-hailed turn in A Star Is Born alongside Bradley Cooper — hasn’t interrupted Gaga’s earning power.

Besides playing 66 shows during our scoring period, she cashed in from deals with Versace and MAC, as well as her own Fame fragrance.

6. Jennifer Lopez ($47 Million)

J.Lo released new single "Dinero" with DJ Khaled and Cardi B in May, an appropriate title given that her earnings increased 24% year-over-year.

She added to her total with a lucrative Las Vegas residency, a bevy of endorsements and shows including "World of Dance".

7. Rihanna ($37.5 Million)

Unlike most of the musicians on our list, Rihanna isn't making her millions on tour. Instead, the multi-hyphenate is cashing in on Fenty Beauty and Savage Lingerie.

And though she hasn't been on tour since 2016, Rihanna stays in the public eye with starring roles in films like Ocean's 8.

8. Helene Fischer ($32 Million)

Though she isn’t as well-known as her American compatriots on the list, European superstar Fischer makes more than most stateside divas.

This year, the bulk of her bucks come from a phenomenally successful tour, where she grosses seven-figures per stop.

9. Celine Dion ($31 Million)

The legendary songstress has established a blueprint for success in Las Vegas, where she commands half a million dollars nightly.

Over the past year, she hit the road as well, doubling her usual take by playing arenas around Europe.

10. Britney Spears ($30 million)

In addition to wrapping her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood and launching a larger arena tour as a follow-up, Spears pads her coffers thanks to deals with the likes of Kenzo, Pepsi and Elizabeth Arden.

Next up: a new Vegas show at Park MGM starting in February.
