Am I thew only one who liked the original suit (other than the number of pockets)? (Yes, Eddie and Tooey liked it, so besides Eddie and Tooey and me.)
Maybe if I saw it in color I'd change my mind. Anybody colorizing the show in the future would have to make some guesses, unless they asked Mathers or Dow (Mathers probably wouldn't remember correctly anyway). |

I guess it was supposed to be like a wild suit that say a jazz singer would wear in a night club or something and not suited for a small town like Mayfield to be worn at a school dance!! ![]() There is a thread from before that we all discussed this. I think I was under the impression it might have been orange plaid? It would be so cool to see this ep. colorized!!! ![]() ![]()

I would love to see it colorized. I have to agree it was probably a green/yellow type plaid or maybe some orange. Looked like something Jerry Lewis might have worn in one of his movies. I’ll look up some crazy suits online. I liked the suit too but Ward was ready to move away. Eddie and Tooey looked like little gentlemen. If Wally had worn that suit, he was so popular with the girls he would have made them swoon. Or he might have felt like Beaver at the football banquet.

Google Braveman Classic Holiday Fit. Now that would be a first in Mayfield.

I liked it, too, but it probably looks ugly in color instead of black and white. The grown-ups were saying something about a darker suit looking more flattering on Wally than a light suit because of his weight.

This would have been a good episode for Connelly and Mosher to have loosened the purse strings, and filmed in color. It would have been shown in monochrome, but we could have seen it in color.

Wally looked like a game show host from the 70’s in the suit. They all wore flashy suits like Wink Martindale, Tom Kennedy, Gene Rayburn and Bert Convy. I think Chuck Baris (Gong Show) wore jeans.
