Default Logo just found a new way to annoy people

Not sure if this is something new. I just noticed it. Logo network is showing sitcoms in 35 minute blocks. It allows them to show even more commercials. It's not enough for them to crunch credits and speed up the episodes. TV Land does the exact same thing with some shows. No surprise that they are both owned by Viacom. Viacom is the absolute worst media company. This is why people hate cable.

Logo is an atrocity to classic TV shows. I mean, they only show about 3 shows total, but still...basically TV Land 2.

Logo is a mess. Totally unviewable. This off the clock stuff, totally unbearable, has been going on for quite awhile.

That’s not new, they’ve done that for a long time.

With them you don't even get more show. It's 19 minutes of show and then 16 minutes of commercials(!) It's insane!

At least Antenna TV and MeTV don't go off the clock.

Yeah, the Viacom ad blocks, when they use off the clock, are horrible. 5+ minutes of ads, multiple times in the same show.

And you can't successfully edit 6+ minutes of material out of a show.

Yeah, long commercial breaks, and 6+ minutes hacked out of a show and not even done well, they're awful. Truly awful. That's why I stick to Antenna TV and DVDs, mostly. I did watch an episode of It's a Living that was around 18 minutes I believe (down from 23 minutes, I think) and I could even tell whole scenes were missing and I'd never seen the show before!

CMT doesn't appear to use off the clock. That channel is on a different (more expensive) tier--a lot of people probably don't get the channel.

Inexplicably, Comcast here has it on 2 channels--71 and 146--why?

We used to have the channel until sometime this year when Comcast dropped it from our package.

I watched Logo and it hasn't been 35 minutes. It's been the same 30 min. shows. If anything, I think they added another commercial break.
