We all know and love the four stars of LITB. And we all know Beaver and Wally's friends. But which recurring adult did you most enjoy when they appeared?

Fred; although all the others played a big part in Beaver's environment.

I voted Fred, some hilarious scenes with him, not just with the Cleavers, but with his own family.
Mrs Mondello, and Aunt Martha should be on the list. |

Oh God, YES !!!! Mrs. Mondello!!! I knew there was someone I really liked missing from that list! I couldn't put my finger on who though? But yes, Mrs. Mondello, that is who I was thinking of!! My vote definitely goes to her , would have went to her had she been in the poll!! I love Mrs.Mondello!!

Fred. Even though he was the "mean" one, he usually made me laugh.

I agree, Mrs. Mondello and Aunt Martha should be on the list. If it wasn't limited to adults, Eddie would win, IMO.
I do like what Fred adds, but to be contrarian I'll vote for Mr. Gus. |

I vote for Gus because his vast knowledge of all things helped Beaver throughout his young life. I have to vote for Mrs. Mondello secondly if she was on list.

I should specify that I preferred Uncle Billy in his second episode ("Uncle Billy's Visit") where he was more the kindly but responsible adult rather than the ne'er do well of the first episode ("Uncle Billy").
Another of my favorite adults was Beaver's teacher Mr. Blair, played by the wonderful Wendell Holmes. Holmes also played Andy Hadlock, the handyman in "Beaver and Andy." |

Also Mr. Willet, the music teacher in season 1 ("Music Lesson"). Quite a versatile actor.
