I gotta go with Larry. Larry's unexplained, mysterious disappearance definitely affected the Beav, likely contributing to his seemingly stunted growth-adolescent behavior in later seasons.

For Beaver slash fiction, though, I'd go with Richard.

Larry. They all specialize in getting Beaver in trouble, but Larry is not annoying like most of the others, particularly Gilbert.
