Worst episode ever A Crisis of Faith and Octopus Aliens - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ugh! Spare me a sitcom that decides to give us a "very special episode". This was nothing but a rehash of the old "All in the Family" episode where Edith loses her faith, only that one was well-written and well-acted. This one was terrible, a pathetic attempt at Emmy bait, and a complete failure.

To me, Mrs. Cooper did not cry hard enough at the bar when she said to her mother, "How can there be a better place for that girl compared to being at home with her family?"

P.S. My most favorite scene of that episode is when the preacher tells her about what he does during the hard times.
