Arrow Summer Reading

So who all has received their summer reading assignments yet? Are there any lucky individuals who don't have to spend half there summer reading books that are 500 pages long a piece and written in some foreign language? If so...lucky ducks.

I'm having to read "Moby Dick" and "The Great Gatsby" and some other one but I already forgot the name of it...

Has anyone read these books and if so exactly HOW boring are they?

I dont have any summer reading assignments. If I was taking Honors English 10 I would but I'm not so not summer reading for me. I'm still going to read though probably. I want to read Riding In Cars With Boys.

Chris, what did you think of "The Great Gatsby?" I'm going into my Junior year next year...blah, that means reading midevil books all year long. I'm not looking forward to English, but hopefully I will be proven wrong...?
