I thought Pat Carroll nailed it as Shirley’s overbearing mom, and she and Cindy Williams had good chemistry together. But Lily “Barb” Feeney never appeared again after the first season. We never even saw her after the girls moved to California (Mrs. Feeney visited from California during season 1).
