Give Shelley Long a Guest starring role - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

both Ted Danson and SHelley Long have recently shot down questions about a "Cheers" reboot. Good. You can't go back again and recreate a classic, especially when so much time has passed.

"The Good Place" is the best current sitcom and I would love to see Ted Danson and Shelley Long work together again. Their "Cheers" chemistry was magic. When Ted was on CSI, I would have jumped at the chance to see an episode in which Shelley guest-starred. Maybe the writers can find a way to have Shelley guest-star and have scenes with Ted. I know it is Kristen Bell's show, but Ted has a large roll and there must be some kind of character for Shelley to play. I would pay real money to see Ted and Shelley together again and this show seems ideal.

If this is the last season, I certainly hope they can give Shelley a guest shot, create some new Ted-Shelley magic.
