I've been denied food assistance for November! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I usually get a phone call to update my status for SNAP...all I got was a rejection letter.

I can't get on the website because I forgot my password and the state of Ohio is TOO ****ing stubborn to let me change anything!

Now I HAVE to wait until Tuesday to call those *******s that run the thing! I'm sooooo pissed!

Do you work?

They passed a new law in GA (not sure about other states) that you must be working to receive food stamps.

I work...I make small-business minimum wage.

But right now...I might as well eat ramen noodles and go to food pantries, eat at community meals, and...move back in with my dad!

I'll be going to a couple of centers tomorrow and Wednesday to either reapply or a renewal...
