A couple of things:
--Wouldn't a device that cut the power on a record player slow the music down gradually, then stop? And then start it up slowly again? --I noticed Beaver didn't look like a sheepdog anymore. And he didn't even have his hair pasted down with Glama Spray. |

Yeah I believe the record would slow down then start up not just stop. Maybe a CD player but not an LP.
Funny how Beaver’s problems are solved so quickly. All he needed was a haircut or just comb it like he did for the party. I thought that Shirley deserved everything she got and once again Beaver didn’t defend himself. |

If this were the real world, Beaver probably would have been able to undo at least one of the trick items. Like not fumbling the ice cube with the bug. Or, he would have had the guts to tell Wally before the the hijinks.
I liked Eddie's Hey, Duncan Hines when he caught Beaver pawing the sandwiches (how did you like all that handling the food?...hope they all washed their hands!) |

I thought it was a riot how Eddie picked the rubber cheese sandwich from the pack and took a bite. So staged and scripted. I still think Eddie would get a kick out of all the tricks not get angry. So out of character.

You have a point there. "Hey, Junior. Almost up to my standards. Get with me next time and I'll help you rig it up real good, for a buck or two."
