I really like how it looks in 2, but I think 3 is her best look. I also have to say I like her goofy grin in 1.

She definitely looked more classically beautiful with her hair down, that's for sure. But the braided look was more sporty.

That goofy grin makes me smile every time. She's so young, there, and innocent, and so sweet... (Wait, I just quoted Julie Anne herself, in her interview. )

I feel like I can't give a straight answer in this poll.

Of course you have to love the braids. That is classic Cindy. But I do love that pulled back with barrettes look on her. And she looks good with it down and wavy, too.

I wouldn't have thought of TLC as being a "perm". I guess it's a very very loose perm? I did see one similar photo when I Google Image-searched "1980s perm", and I was surprised. I always think of perms as curly---i.e., Miss Mahoney, lol.

And yes, "The Cousin Itt" is very cute.

I don't really think "permy" or "wavy" when I see it, but I definitely think "1980s", lol.

I am glad to finally get your comments.

My understanding of perms is that they can be tight perms, or perms that have been combed out or loosened. But never having had a perm myself, I had to sort of guess on the terminology.

I agree that the "Cousin Itt" is adorable, and I'm glad Cindy never got the "Miss Mahoney".

Unfortunately, Rose Polniaczek nearly did! She foolishly asked Emily who her hairdresser was and went to get her hair done there as well, but then it turned out SO bad that Blair refused to let Rose be allowed on campus---Jo could only see her mom if she went back home to visit her!

It's so bad that even the picture frame in the background is trying to make an exit!

And certainly not Miss Mahoney herself. Her head is far too small for hair that big. She can barely hold up her head!
