At the end of last month, someone started a thread on this page about episodes in which the character of Blair wore boots. That seemed like a good thing to write about because I thought that she looked hot in boots! However, the last post on that page was on the 7th of this month. It seems as if the novelty of the topic has been over for a while. Well, after posting a reply to this post, I went over to the "Gimme a Break!" page and told my buddies there about the thread here. I tired it in to that series by mentioning that I think that Julie from that show is right up there with Blair from this series in terms of looking great in boots. That thread is now at that top of that page and has eight views. Another babe that I think looks lovely in boots is Debra Messing's character of Grace on "Will and Grace". Over on that page, I started a thread called "As Good as Blair". So far, that thread has not generated any replies. It now has three threads started by other people on top of it. I would be very interested in what any of you guys think of any of this.

Julie from GAB is not in the same league, looks-wise, as Blair from FOL.

Julie from GAB had a good brain.

In the first place, I agree with you that Julie was very smart. On top of that, there was always something about her that made me drool! I was 12-years-old when that show first came out. I developed the biggest crush on Julie!

I understand: I had a crush on a Julie, too. But she was Julie Anne Haddock, Cindy on FOL (she did an episode of GAB, too).

She was the President of the Silver Slippers in "Julie's Rejection". (Ironically, Julie Anne had recently been rejected from The Facts of Life).

We seem to be talking about one fictional character named Julie and two actresses whose real name happens to be Julie. However, the thing that confuses me is which of these Julies is being referred to as "Julie Pie". Somebody, please help.

Julie "Pie" Piekarski (Sue Ann) is on the left, and Julie Anne Haddock (Cindy) is on the right:

They were in the exact same episodes of The Facts of Life during Seasons 1, 2, 3, and 8. They were in different episodes in Diff'rent Strokes.

(Also, somewhat confusingly, Julie Pie's middle name is also Ann.)

Here they are in FOL episode "Gossip", with Julie Pie on the left, and Julie Anne on the right, again:
