I always thought that Dwayne's true soulmate was Denise, but she broke his heart and married someone else. Whitley was the next best thing, and she was very available. But even Whitley knew that Dwayne was very much in love with Denise.

I'd have to agree I always hoped Dwayne would get together with Denise, I wish she never got married to that boring Martin (yuck)! Denise and Dwayne looked so cute together!

Both of U's is WRONG WHITLEY AND DWAYNE stole the show with their friendship and unconditional LOVE! Denise would have nothing to offer to Dwayne she was so boring and belonged with Martin.

Whitley and Dwayne,for sure....it was slow-coming and filled with sexual tension.They were really good friends.I think it would've been to sweet and cutsey if he ended up with Denise.

I agree with you sweetflava, Dwayne and Whitley were the best couple and they had the best chemistry. I'm glad they ended up together. Dwayne and Denise were good as friends, but nothing more. Denise was better on The Cosby Show with Martin.

Whitley is the only match for Dwayne. I couldn't stand him with anyone else and I couldn't stand her with anyone else. I still cry everytime the episode is on where they get married!

I FEEL THAT DWAYNE AND WHITLE TOTALLY BELONG TOGETHER. THE TWO CHARECTERS ON THE SHOW ARE A DIRECT REPLICATION OF MY FIANCE AND I. I COME FROM A MIIDLE CLASS HOME WITH TWO PARENTS (WHITLEY). WHILE MY FIANCE COMES FROM THE INNER CITY (DWAYNE) OUR PARENTS WERE EACH AGAINST US GETTING TOGETHER FOR MANY F THE SAME REASONS AS THE TWO CHARECTERS. I think Dwayne and Whitley were the real soulmates. Like everyone said, their chemistry was undeniable and watching the two of them fall in love was perfect.

actually Cree Summer (Freddie) and Kadeem Hardison (Dwayne) used to date each other. they were together for a long time. I think 5 years. I'm not sure.

Dwayne's soulmate was definitely Whitley. They had great chemistry. Denise and Dwayne were much better as friends.

I actually liked Dwayne with Denise. Fictionally they are both from the same town (NY) and both had funky, eclectic styles.

Whitley was cool too and they definitely had chemistry. I just find Lisa Bonet extremely sexy! She was too hot for words in Biker Boys!!!
