I know they wanted to change things up and give the show some new locations, but I miss seeing The Regal Beagle in the last couple years of Three's Company.
Don't get me wrong, the Jack's Bistro episodes are funny, but the bar was a much more natural place for unexpected plot twists and stuff like that. What do you think? |

Hard to say. Both were good settings. I might go with Jack's Bistro, as some very memorable scenes took place for me there.

Personally, it didn't matter to me much as long as the stories were great. HOWEVER, Jack's Bistro was poorly operated. He didn't even have a chef until EZ. And even then only one person. Mr Furley of all people had to cook? No waiters? How was this a functioning business?

The Reagle Beagle for drinks and snacks but Jack's Bistro for meals.

I liked the Regal Beagle, seemed like a better place to hang out.

Jack's Bistro scenes weren't very funny, except when Felipe was there.

Much of that episode took place in Jack's Bistro. |

I'm guessing season 6?
It would be interesting if someone could find the very last episode that showed the Reagle Beagle. That would be easiest for someone with the entire DVD collection which I don't have. |

Honestly it's been a while since I've seen the show, and I used to be an avid watcher of it, but I always thought the Regal Beagal was there till the very end....just shown a lot less toward the end.

In Season 8 it's seen in "Hearing is Believing." It's mentioned in "The Charming Stranger" but we don't see it.
The last time the Regal Beagle was seen was in "Jack Takes Off" when Jack's nude portrait was hung above the bar. It was one of the last six episodes before the series ended. I may be missing some but I think those are the only two episodes we actually see it in the final season. |

95% of ALL Jack's Bistro episodes were absolute garbage. Some of the worst written eps of the entire series. No waiters/waitresses, no bus boys, no Sous-chef, no logic, as if one man is going to run an entire restraunt! Horrible set too.
The Regal Beagle (which was still shown occasionally until the final season) was better than Jack's Bistro by a hundred miles! |

In the later seasons, weren't Jack & Linda a couple ?
If so, storywise, there'd be less reason for Jack to go there to pick up chicks or hang out with Larry. |

No, Jack was single up until the last couple episodes of the series when he met Vicky. He and Linda dated briefly but that was only seen in Seasons 2 and 3. Anne Schedeen came back to guest star in one of the later seasons but played a different character.
