Default Did Tootie say “We are in TROOOOOUBLLLLLLLE” After Season 1?

So I’m only midway through season 3 on my FOL rewatch but I’m noticing Tootie hasn’t used her catchphrase in a long time. I know Mrs Garrett used it in Gossping (Which was basically a throwback ep to season 1 anyway) referring to Tootie. I don’t remember Tootie actually saying it after season 1.

You are correct, Lorimar. Tootie never says her catchphrase again after season 1. Isn't that fascinating that that came to be seen as her "catchphrase", when, in fact, she only said it two or maybe three times? Fascinating.

However, there is a time when Tootie says: "There's gonna be troubllllllle", and Natalie says, "Make that a doublllllllle", lol...and I'm thinking that's in season 2?? (or it may be season 1)

No that was in Dope, the season 1 finale. Crazy to think she's known for that and her skates and they were both from "the forgotten" season.

Yeah, I was thinking it was probably from "Dope". Her skates were a character in themselves in season 1, but she only said her "catchphrase", like, twice? Maybe three times?

Crazy....fascinating, but crazy, lol.

Nice catch, Gemini!!!!

Wow, that's still a long time to go without saying a catchphrase, though!

Anyone spot any other times after S1, when Tootie said "We are in Troubllllllle"?

I really don't think she ever said it other than S1, and that one time in S8 (!).

They really should have had her use it at least a few times in season 2.

They could have at least phased it out. Margie probably thought it was too stereotypical.

She said it in the reunion movie, when both of Natalie's boyfriend's showed up at the hotel.

Really? Haha thats cool! Too bad she didn't say it in The Little Chill. Would've been the perfect time for it.

Yeah, it would have been a nice little throwback!
