Talking Things Ozzy Said That You Wouldn't Understand Until You Put the Captions On...

What was the most confusing thing Ozzy has said that at first you didn't understand but do now?

This is obviously just a problem that you Americans have. Being from the UK myself, I have absolutely no trouble whatsoever understanding what Ozzy is saying.

Well you grew up with the accents and still probably hear it until this day. Dumb question, but do you have an accent? Don't jump on me people, it's an honest question!!!

I wasn't "jumping" on anyone. I just think it's really funny how you Americans can't figure out what Ozzy is saying.
I do have an accent myself but it's a west of Scotland accent. Ozzy is from Birmingham in England so we don't sound anything alike. I'm just used to hearing English accents so that is how I can understand him and you guys can't.

Default It kinda reminds me...

...of the 'I Love Lucy' episode where they were at Buckingham Palace inquiring about the Queen's presence.

The guy who they wrangled to fill 'em in was talking fast (and with that classic British accent), and Lucy an Ethel hadda tell him to talk slower!

I remember when he was talking on the phone and he was saying something about "It's not all fun and games."

It's not the accent, it's the stuttering and mumbling.

He's too fun to watch. I love him to death.

Oh, ok sorry.
Yeah, like I said before - I do have an accent but it's nothing like Ozzy's. Actually, you probably wouldn't be able to figure out what I was saying if I ever spoke to you. It's not so much that my accent is really thick, it's just that I use a lot of Scots slang words that you've probably never heard before.

Talking

It's not that I can't understand British (or Scottish) accents. I love them -- I mean, my favorite singers are Billie Myers and Shirley Manson, Billie from England and Shirley from Scotland. I just can't understand him on some occasions when he stutters.

It's not the accent that hangs me up, it's the fact that Ozzy mumbles incomprehensibly!
