This has been raised before, both here and elsewhere, but Sherwood's fixation with making Susan Olsen resemble Anissa Jones (Buffy Davis on Family Affair) is downright creepy, almost psycho-sexual in nature, rather like those men who make their new girlfriends dress up like their past lovers who they still pine after.

He didn't. That was Susan who wanted her hair to look like Buffy's. She made her mother style it that way. Sherwood liked the look and even wrote it into the theme song.

No one could have known then that Anissa would horribly overdose eight years later. Anissa was only 10, only three years older than Susan.
