Yup and mostly sporting goods. However I believe Beaver got his Eskimo sweater at Kirby’s. Wonder where Wally bought his crazy suit and Beaver got his jacket with the secret pocket. I remember seeing the boys go into Tilden’s for the monster sweatshirts.

Foster's could have been a shoe store.

They showed the front of a drugstore once but I forget the name. They also might have showed the market where Beaver and Larry ended up when they skipped school.

Another store in Mayfield The Prep Shop where Wally bought that s-h-a-r-p suit with all the pockets. Also I believe Eddie buys that suave vest at the Mayfield Campus Shop.

I think we've talked about it before, but it seems there are a lot of drug stores in Mayfield.

Like Mayfield Drugs. Remember Rexall Drugs and we had a drug store in NE called Liggetts.

Yep all small towns had a Rexall drug store. I think it was a yellow and blue sign.

I deleted my previous post. I didn't know the photo would be so big. Probably because I uploaded it on a tablet. I'm sorry.

OK, orange and blue:

That sign's in rough shape. Some of its neon tubes are missing (but not on the Rexall name).

That's okay Getsmartbeaver I just pulled up an old post so I wouldn't start another one about stores in Mayfield. That was a cute little guy in front of the TV.

Wonder if it was Gibson's Drugs or Mayfield Drugs. In Summer in Alaska June talks about Wally going back to work at the soda fountain for Mr. Barnes. What happened to Gibson?

I wish we knew the name of the sporting goods store where Beaver bought the skates. That con man should have been fired after Ward got the money back.

The drug store where W&J heard Frances blabbing about Wally, and the one where Beaver caught Larry, Whitey, and Gilbert when Larry was supposed to go with him to the movies--one of them had an establishing shot, and I don't know what the name was. Maybe that was Mayfield Drugs? I don't even know if there're supposed to be the same store--they probably just said, we need a soda fountain set.

Right, Getsmartbeaver--there are a lot of large pics. on this site, here and there.

That's when Ward orders two Black and Whites...his had whipped cream. The soda fountain was a lot different from when Wally worked there, when Beaver caught Larry sucking down a soda with his money and when Ward and June took a load off. It sort of looked like the same soda fountain when Eddie and Wally sat having a soda checking out Carolyn Schuster.

Yeah, June spurned the whipped cream--that was common for dieters. Like there aren't tons of calories in the ice cream, choc. syrup, and soda.

And then there was the counter when Wally worked for Mr. Gibson, and Eddie snd Lumpy were razzing him, making him repeat the flavors til Gibson stepped in. Lumpy wanted pistachio.
