Really nice to see BUZZR changing their schedule up and showing some color versions of their shows.

Yeah The Black & White To tell the truth are really cool, very old and nostalgic!! But the color ones are actually more nostalgic for me being I watched them first run in the early 70's!!

I wonder if I'll remember any of them??

Is that the season of To Tell The Truth with the theme song with the lyrics,
"It's A Lie Lie You're Telling A Lie I Don't Know Why But I'll Tell You How"
"To Tell The Truth cause you don't know how to tell the truth"
I didn't know that Buzzr was gonna show the old reruns of To Tell The Truth because I am only familiar with the 90's version that Gordon Elliott hosted and the John O'Hurley hosted version. What a surprise that Buzzr is getting reruns of classic game shows added to their lineup. Sure wish GSN would add To Tell The Truth reruns to their channel soon

No. The one from the early 70's didn't have that song! From what I remember it was just music that went .....

Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba........... than like a big drum role! That is the best I can describe it ! I'm remembering it in my head, but it's hard to describe it!

I remember the John Hurley version! From the late 90's- early 00's ! It was on in the morning, I used to watch it before work!

Wait. I think you are right Bestie !! I just went to Youtube and the version I used to watch DID play that song!!! It's ringing a bell with me ! I do sorta remember that in the beginning of the show ! What I'm thinking of is after the three people are introduced and they all claim to be that one person than they read the affidavit written by the real person , than when they are walking over to take there seats and get started is when the Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba and drum roll starts !! It's been so long , and my brain is rather old!!

I remember watching that show was the first time I ever heard the word affidavit !!!

Are these the ones hosted by Garry Moore? GSN ran those back in the 90's

I wonder if they will be showing the last season of the original Bud Collyer version. The daytime version of To Tell the Truth was the last game show to air on CBS until 1972. There were plans to air reruns of To Tell the Truth's final season in syndication but when What's My Line became a hit, they decided to go ahead with a new version of the show. Coincidentally, the Garry Moore hosted version of To Tell the Truth debuted on the same day that Collyer passed away, September 8, 1969.

I'm really loving watching To tell the truth in color!!

So is anyone else watching it? If so how are you doing with picking the right person? On Wednesday I was spot on ! Both times I picked the right one! (pats self on back) Thursday in both games I was wrong, but my second choice was the real person!

I always do it that way! I pick who I think it is, than I eliminate one totally , like I REALLY don't think it's him (or her)! So I usually go well I think it's two, or could be three but I really don't think it's one! Than of course sometimes to my surprise it IS the one I didn't think at all! And I always choose before the panel say who they think it is, so I'm not making my pick based on the panel !!

So hoping there are others here watching it and maybe we could get a discussion going on how we picked and our thoughts on the real person and the imposters and stuff ! I watch at least three sometimes four times a week , whenever I can , am home at the time !

I would watch these repeats of To Tell The Truth, but unfortunately my cable service doesn't offer BUZZR, only GSN. Too bad.

Does anyone remember the 1970's syndicated game show Liar's Club? It ran from 1976 to 79. Bill Armstrong hosted the 1976 shows, then in 1977 Allen Ludden took over.

I don't have a Buzzr affiliate either but you can live stream their schedule online. I was able to see Buzzr for the first time today because of that live stream, here is the link.
