Default Facts of Life crossovers with other shows

In the spirit of '80sSitcoms' Sesame Street/Facts of Life funny crossover thread, I thought about what other TV crossovers could happen.

Clearly, there were Diff'rent Strokes/Facts of Life/Hello Larry crossovers, but there could have been many others, especially with other NBC shows.

Imagine, for example, a Family Ties/Facts of Life crossover. In part 1, a FT episode, Steven and Elyse Keaton decide to enroll Mallory and Jennifer at the prestigious Eastland School for Girls, in upstate New York. The girls arrive, and chafe at being away from home in Ohio. In part 2, a FOL episode, Mallory finds she's fitting in (she loves shopping with Blair), but Jennifer, despite being befriended by Tootie and Natalie, is still homesick. Elyse finally convinces Steven that the girls belong at home, and a call to the school, where they talk with Edna Garrett, confirms that Jennifer isn't ready to be so far away from home, so the girls say goodbye to their new friends at Eastland.

Or how about a Gimme a Break/Facts of Life crossover: Katie, Julie, and Samantha visit their cousin Jo at Eastland. While there, they get in trouble, and get a heart-to-heart from Mrs. Garrett.

Any others you can think of? How about a Growing Pains cr... oh, wait... That's ABC. Nevermind!

I would have loved to see The Facts of Life girls meet The Golden Girls. I mean, they kinda did a take on their golden years in the episode "Golden Oldies," but it would have been fun if the cast stopped by The Golden Girls house cause one of characters were related to them or something. It would be kinda funny if Blanche was like Blair's aunt or if Sophia or Dorothy was Jo's grandmother because they were so alike Maybe they'd have an episode where the Facts girls take them out for a "girl's night out" on the town a la "Cruisin'," a strip club like in "I'm Dancing As Fast as I Can" or to a beauty parlor like "Let's Face the Music." But I think it didn't happen (even though they were on the same network) because The Facts of Life was a little too squeaky clean compared to the "risqué" (at least for the time period) Golden Girls.

I would have loved to have seen that. But as you say, in the later years of the show, they rarely did any risque episodes. A Blair/Blanche scene would be priceless.

That would be interesting; WBK ended the year FOL started, but it'd be cool to see the Eastland girls visit an inner-city high school.

On Gimme a Break, Cindy leaves Eastover and ends up at Katie's and Julie's school. Cindy ends up in the wrong crowd and goes from tomboy to mean girl and becomes the President of The Club. Katie joins The Club and Julie wants to. Julie survives the first round of initiation, but mean girl Cindy Webster rejects her afterward, causing a sisterly rift between Katie and Julie.

Haha! We were so close to actually having that episode!
