Most Watched Episodes - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

We all know the Beverly Hillbillies were an immediate success and became a number 1 hit in just their 3rd week on the air. Unless I am mistaken, that is a feat that no other show has ever matched.

I have heard different figures, but I remember hearing one time that of all the 10 most watched television episodes of all time, five were opisodes on the Beverly Hillbillies.

2I also have heard there are of the 100 watched shows of all time, the Beverly Hillbillies had 18 of them

Can anyone shed any lite on this ? Thx...Bob

I think "The giant jack rabbit" was #1 of all time for quite awhile.

I think "Giant Jackrabbit" is the highest rated half-hour program in the history of television. At least thats what the ads on TV Land are saying.
