Default Worst Sitcom Father

Who do you think is the worst sitcom father of all time?

My choices are:

Fred Sanford-Sanford and Son since he kept calling his son a dummy.
Sean Finnerty-Grounded for Life. The most immature sitcom father.
Red Forman-That 70s Show. Always called Eric a dumbass.

I would say all of them from 1980 and forward because in the 1980's is when moral decency and moral standards ceased to exist.

Yeah I'd kind of like to hear the rationale for Mr. Drummond, too...

How the actors turned out in real life is not how their characters ended up.

I was gonna say, are we confusing real life with sitcom life? They seemed pretty normal in their sitcom world.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Al Bundy from Married With Children. Granted, the show was a live action cartoon, but he was a bad human being all around.

Al Bundy (Married With Children). But then that show was nothing but garbage filled with horrible people.

Mr. Drummond was a great father to all four of his kids. He's not responsible for how Gary Coleman, Dana Plato, and Todd Bridges turned out. (BTW, Danny Cooksey seems to have turned out just fine.)

Al Bundy, Peter Griffin, and Red from That '70s show are definitely bad fathers.
