This is the one of the guy found beaten to death outside his hotel.. However.. he had gone to the loopy side prior to that.
Lost his rental car key.. In his pocket. Went to a gas station with a Nissan key to start a Toyota.. And when he was killed, they key was found on him (or around him) 95% of this.. I think the guy was an undiagnosed schizophrenic.. It may be something else, but it was certainly a mental illness. He likely went to the truck stop.. The part that doesn't make sense to me.. It all adds up that he tried to pick up someone at the truck stop likely had sex with them.. and then got beaten. but.. The obvious reason for the beating would be robbery, and we can tell he wasn't robbed. |

Robin W did a fantastic podcast on Blair Adams. You've been gone awhile, but his podcast is called The Trail Went Cold. You can get it on iTunes, GooglePlay and Stitcher, I believe. He did a great job covering all the complexities of Blair's case. You should check it out! |

The Blair Adams incident was very bizarre. In all the true crime stuff I've read, I've never seen a case quite like Blair's. So I think it's unlikely to happen again.
As far as Gail Delano-- if you are feeling suicidal, please contact someone. The National Suicide Hotline is 1-800-273-8255. It's open 24 hours a day. Or you can visit their website to chat with someone. |

This is one of the more fascinanting cases because you can't really come to a coherent conclusion, He was showing signs of not being mmmm well let's say mentally sound, he was acting strange, but did all this come about because of his paranoia and fear? It seems he did have a reason to be paranoid, because his behaviour shows that he was running away from something or someone, yet later gets murdered in the most strangest way possible. Like you say, it wasnt a robbery, because he was found with 1000s of dollars on him and 1000s of dollars worth of jewellery, why wasn't this taken? A paranoid man who is obviously on the run from something or someone, just happens to end up in a small town and meets someone who decided to kill him for killing sake, not a robbery, just to kill him... That would be some coincidence. maybe it is, but i'm not convinced. |
