In 1985 Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam made their debut with their debut self-titled album that featured a band called Full Force that had hits like I Wonder If I Take You Home and Can You Feel The Beat and the ballad All Cried Out which was covered by R&B group Allure in 1997 "I liked Allure's song All Cried Out when it came out and didn't even know that it was originally a Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam song because I was obsessed with Allure's version of All Cried Out and was pleased to find Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam's version which is great too". Following the success of their debut album Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam released the popular album Spanish Fly which had the singles Head To Toe and Lost In Emotion. Today Lisa Velez is still singing and acted on the Nickelodeon kids sitcom Taina and although Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam split up in the 90's they are considered one of the biggest 80's bands of dance music

Yesterday when we were eating dinner Mom and I were listening to Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam and she remembered many of their songs and Mom liked All Cried Out and Head To Toe and she thought Lisa Lisa had a nice voice. It would sure be cool if Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam made a comeback album someday because they had great songs
