With BBC America now a channel that has changed it's image and focusing on showing The X-Files reruns Star Trek The Next Generation reruns and Doctor Who and reruns of the Planet Earth miniseries I often wonder if BBC America will create a channel that shows nothing but a mix of classic and new Britcoms someday? Because I think that a Britcom channel would be great for BBC America to have. Because I know fans would love to see Are You Being Served or Faulty Towers and many other Britcoms that people like to watch in the UK

I think it could be successful if anyone other than BBC America did it, but those idiots are completely useless. BBCA used to be awesome about 10 years ago, they showed all British shows with lots of variety and many sitcoms and great dramas - but they slowly tapered off with that idea to where they are now.
As it is now there is absolutely no reason to call the channel BBCA - they show about 8 hours per YEAR of new Doctor Who, maybe have one or two new British shows per season - and the rest is all useless filler. They haven't aired a Britcom in 6 or 7 years now. |

Hi, Bestie! I love Benny Hill and Black Adder. I wish they would rerun them! Thank you for the poll!

I can see BBC America creating a channel for Classic Britcoms real soon unless it becomes a TV Channel or free online live streaming just like Buzzr does.
