David Ruprecht Albertson's commercial from 1978 - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I found a commercial for Albertson's Supermarket that's from 1978 that features Supermarket Sweep host David Ruprecht and in the commercial it promotes a sweepstakes and it featured David Ruprecht singing too. When I saw this commercial I was shocked that David Ruprecht has an awesome singing voice. Was David Ruprecht also a spokesman for Albertson's in the 70's in addition to acting in sitcoms too?

Hi, Bestie! Maybe that commercial helped him get the SSS job! Did you say he sang in that commercial? I wish I could see that. I never thought he was a singer. Thanks for the trivia, Bestie!
