25 Words or Less - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This week, several Fox owned stations including New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Minneapolis-St. Paul are testing a new game show based on the game 25 Words or Less. Hosted and produced by Meredith Viera, the game feature two teams of two celebrities and a civilian contestant who bid on the number of words they can use to help their partner guess five words in 45 seconds.

My girlfriend and I have become hooked on the show and to me, it's a hybrid of Password, Pyramid and the Bid a Note segment of the 70s and 80s incarnation of Name That Tune. It's also a show the home audience can play along with (if you don't look at the screen) which is important to a show's success.

Has anybody seen the show? It's on for another two weeks before Fox decides to bring out in syndication in the fall of 2019. Spread the word. This show has hit potential written all over it.

Do you know the celebrities who are appearing on the show?

I do know that Constance Zimmer appeared on the premiere episode and Mary McCormack and Lisa Kudrow were also on. As for the next two weeks, I don't know what celebrities will be on the next 10 shows but if you've been watching the show, spread the word. It's one of the best game shows in years.
