Default Moving Along (my speech/poem)

Moving Along

The year has gone by so fast. It feels like only yesterday I was entering Junior High. Now the year is over & I'm saying goodbye. Goodbye to classmates who won't be comming back, goodbye to friends being left back. Goodbye to the kindergarten- next years first grade. Without you guys it wont be the same. Goodbye to my teachers, for who were the best. You will never be pushed aside like all the rest. Goodbye 6th grade, for I am moving on. This year was not the best nor worst, I wish it wasn't almost gone. And goodbye to my old self, for I shall be renewed. Entering the teenage life simetime after June. Seventh grade is parshly here & soon will also be gone. Next year I'll be graduating, it's not too long. Some good I got out of this year were getting best friends. Even though we may be miles apart, we're still close within our hearts. Through the good times and the bad, this school year will always be rad! Saying goodbye is the worst part, maybe leaving friends so dear to your heart. Ending my thoughts, I'll leave you guys with this: Cherish each year- you can't relive it.

~The End: By Lisa~

That is a really good poem. I liked the ending too. It's true though about cherishing each year. Especially your senior year- I'm not sure how many people here will be senior's when school starts back. It seems odd at grad night and everybody says goodbye. Take pictures and don't let anything spoil your year, whether you're a senior or if you are in 7th grade.

Are you kidding?

That was a great poem! And I agree with Megan and Jen about the ending.

That was so good Lisa!! It makes me sad because I know what you mean about it all going so quick... today was my last day of school and I was so excited for it to be over but now I realize I'm going to miss a lot of stuff... really good quote as well. I'm going to put that in my quote book.
