Mt. St. Helens - WA(last year)

I grew up in Vancouver WA which is about 51 miles away from Mt St Helens, after it erupted in 1980, I don't remember for how long, but we had to wear a mask over our mouth and nose when we walked to and from school.

I've never been further north out here on the west coast past San Francisco !! These pics make me want to venture further!!

Really? Not even to the Redwoods? Driving a car through a tree should be experienced at least once.

Nah , I been to Hollywood but unlike Neil Young , I never been to Redwood !

But I really should ,

I'd really love to find my true 'Heart of Gold" ! before I REALLY get old
