Hallmark Channel’s longest running, most-watched primetime series ever, "When Calls the Heart" is getting a spin-off to premiere in 2019 on Crown Media Family Networks’ SVOD subscription service, Hallmark Movies Now.

"When Hope Calls" (working title) is the first original streaming series on Hallmark Movies Now, which launched in October 2017 and gives subscribers access to nearly 1,000 hours of family friendly content not available on Crown Media’s linear channels.

No details about the spin-off were revealed.

Hallmark Channel has commissioned "When Hope Calls", a "When Calls the Heart" spin-off that will focus on orphaned sisters Lillian (played by Morgan Kohan) and Grace (Jocelyn Hudon), who were first introduced in "When Calls the Heart‘s" recent Christmas special.

The spin-off will debut in August, exclusively on the streaming service Hallmark Movies Now.
