The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) shares the world's grief over the tragic fires in Athens and has mobilized our global resources to alleviate the suffering of those who were devastated by the recent events. The sorrow we all feel is only surpassed by our dedication to the philanthropic mission of AHEPA: to help those in times of greatest need.

Within the first 48 hours of our efforts, we raised over $100,000, dispatched medical professionals and allocated life-saving supplies for the victims of the tragedy. We are working with the Greek Government, American Embassy, global corporations and various NGOs to guarantee that we will provide much needed resources in a timely and efficient manner.

By coordinating our philanthropic efforts, will provide what our Greek brothers and sisters need when they need it. Our oversight of this process will be laser focused and provide accounting updates for every dollar raised and service provided. We will continue our noble mission and encourage all like-minded individuals and organizations to join our efforts as we help rebuild the neighborhoods lost and support those who were so cruelly affected.
