Question TV Ads!

"As seen on TV"!

^^^ Do you think these things work? All these things they try to sell you on TV? (Besides CD's and Videos)

I'm curious of your opinions. I don't think anything works, and it's just some small companies trying to make money

Ugh, no way!!! My mom saw that commercial for that tiny sewing machine and she's like, "That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen!" The needle probably breaks on silk.

Uugh, harsh, LOL!

And to answer your question, Trixie, I think not. Although they're really good at persuading, I still think it's a bunch of BS.

it's all propaganda. usually i never get fooled by em. but like a couple of weeks ago i was flipping through the tv and i saw on this channel and ad for this brush that straightens hair. it was soo cool. and the thing is all you do is put your hair on it. it spins itself and everything. omg, i wanted it. and you can have your hair all done in less than 8 mins...so they say. they just kept going on and on...and i was waiting for the price. the minute they said i was like "oh hell no..." it was like 3 payments of $40....or whatever. that's over $100. puh-leaze! but, that turbo-ab was an ad on tv and now it's in stores and people say it actually works, like in the other "abs..." post.

Nope. I'm pretty sure all of that stuff advertised on TV like that is total crap. They just MAKE it sound like it's totally worth buying... pshaw, really stupid if you ask me.

Default Kind of off topic, but you gotta see this website.

Don't even ask me how I found this dude's website, but he talks about tv commericials and all those paid program ads. I really got a laugh at some of the things he says.

We have quite a few '99 Cent Only' stores here, and get this... lol I see things that have the 'As Seen On TV' logo on products in the 99 cent stores. Pretty pathetic, but true. I love the 99 cent stores though.. LOL

You can find these things everywhere... the Walgreens here and Walmart has lots of the As seen on TV stuff. I think its all junk though.
