Default Must-do things at Disney World?

I'm trying to plan a 2-day trip to Disney World.

We'll be visiting the Magic Kingdom both days.

For those that have been (I've only been once when I was 5, I'm 35 now) what are some must-do rides, shows, etc.?

So far, I KNOW I want to do these:
Dumbo the Flying Elephant (I have vague memories of riding this when I was 5)
Peter Pan's Flight
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
Pirates of the Caribbean (I vaguely remember this, also)
Country Bear Jamboree
Haunted Mansion
Mickey's PhilharMagic
It's a Small World
Under the Sea-Journey of The Little Mermaid
The Barnstormer
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

I want to eat at either the "Be our Guest" restaurant or "Pinocchio Village Haus".

Any other suggestions?

Make sure you don't miss their "We're Better Than Dollywood" exhibit

And of course Space Mountain.

I have never been to Disney World, but I hear
The "Hall Of Presidents" is good.
So is EPCOT (I believe it's a separate exhibit that you have to have tickets for)

If I had the $, I'd see the Disney Characters, particularly The Three Caballeros...It's my favorite Disney Film!

I hear there's a secret to get discounts on going to Disney World where you don't have to pay an arm and leg....

I first went to Walt Disney World when I was 12 in 1997 and I went with my mom my aunt and my cousin and we had a great vacation. We stayed at Disney's Boardwalk Inn and it's a wonderful hotel and you get great service there with no problems whatsoever and we could walk directly to EPCOT Center. When I had a character breakfast I had it at the Soundstage Restaurant in Disney Hollywood Studios and it was great and you'll get lots of characters to get autographs with. We also found a hamburger place in Walt Disney World that also has great food and is reasonably priced as well. I really enjoyed Walt Disney World and want to come back someday
Enjoy your Walt Disney World trip Tlc38tlc38

Former Disney World employee, here. This is my advice.

Why are you doing Magic Kingdom on both days, Tlc? Better to visit MK one day, and do another park (or a park hopper) for the other day. Otherwise, you will be visiting the same attractions on both days, and will miss out on the cool stuff at Epcot and "the park formerly known as Disney MGM, which I refuse to call Disney Studios".

If you want to ride the four best, most popular rides at Magic Kingdom (which are at the back of the park), go early, arriving when the park opens at 9 AM so that you can do The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, or Splash Mountain before the park fills up with guests. You will only get on three rides before this happens, so make those three rides count! You can also get a fast pass for later in the day, when you want to re-ride some of those rides, which are the best.

Attractions like the Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree, Dumbo, and Main Street USA are much less popular, and can usually be visited later in the day without extremely long lines. This will not happen at the four above rides.

The Riverboat at Liberty Square is currently closed for repairs, so don't be disappointed that it's not open.

^Basically, I want to do 2 days in MK so I can just soak it in and not worry about trying to get it all done in 1 day. I'll also be with my mom who is in a wheelchair now due to illness...she still may be in this situation when we go. I just don't want to rush anything.

My aunt lives in St. Petersburg so we'll be staying with her, allowing us to save major bucks on a hotel.

I've also downloaded the WDW app; looking at the wait times, the Seven Dwarfs Mine & Peter Pan's Flight are always a really long wait so those may be ones I choose for a Fast Pass.

I'm not into big coasters, I mainly want to stick with rides/attractions that are tame.

I actually found a photo of my one and only trip to WDW. It was on July 5, 1987. I was actually 4 instead of 5. We were waiting in line to ride Dumbo.

If I did visit another park, it'd be the Animal Kingdom. That looks fun!

Epcot and Disney Studios don't really have that much that interests me but I would like to see Toy Story Land and the Indiana Jones show at Studios.

Donald is probably my favorite of the Fab 5. Sadly, in the Magic Kingdom, I think the only place to meet him is at Pete's Silly Sideshow in Fantasyland. He's dressed as "The Astounding Donaldo".

Even in The Magic Kingdom, Donald Duck gets little to no love. No wonder he's always angry.

And DD is my fave from the fab 5.
