Default Ability to delete our own threads

I would like the ability to be able to delete our own threads instead of having to hit the Report button.

When trying to attempt, all I got was editing and no option to delete the thread.

I can click on edit, but couldn’t find a delete button for the thread I wanted deleted.

This has never been a feature in the message boards history. It would delete other people's posts. If we allowed this option, you would see many threads and posts disappearing. It would be better to edit your post and change the title to delete and report it, especially if it's a duplicate.

Default Why can’t we delete our own threads that we made by mistake?

I accidentally made an already existing game thread by mistake without realizing it and now I cannot even delete it myself and have to wait for a staff member to do it for me instead.

Why can’t we delete our own threads after first creating them?

That’s what I did for a thread I made by mistake.

If everyone was able to delete their threads then anyone who posted there will lose their posts too.

If you don't like a thread you made just edit the title and contents to [deleted] or something. If you really want it gone and no one else has posted you can contact a moderator to delete it.

I'll consider that next time, thank you.
