Can anyone help me, I am trying to find the name of a seventies sitcom that featured the main male character and his neighbour sitting at the end of the garden in a greenhouse, out of sight of their wives and drinking Algerian sherry. The other factors we can remember is that the neighbours wife bred dogs.

it is driving us crazy so any help with the name would be appreciated

The sitcom you are refering to is No Place like Home it ran from 1983 to 1987

Arthur Crabtree (William Gaunt) and his wife Beryl (Patricia Garwood) are looking forward to a quieter life.

One by one, each of their grown-up children has left home.

Then, one by one, all of the "children" return ...
