Default Antenna TV Silver Spoons Marathon

MAKE IT STOP!!

I would've liked a Father Knows Best marathon over this insipid piece of 1980's trash.

Now I did like the show as a kid, but 35 years later it just doesn't hold up well at all and a marathon of it is too much. I have to stay away from Antenna TV until tomorrow morning.

I think we've all had that opinion of Antenna's marathons at one time or another. Right now I have on How It's Made while I'm doing today's crossword puzzles. It is very, very hot here...a good day to stay in!

There’s a Home Improvement marathon on UP TV that’s still going on right now if you want to watch that.

I see it's actually hotter up there in Indy than it is here in Florida. That's a switch!

I just wish these marathons ended a little sooner instead of going on into the evening time. If they ended at 6PM I wouldn't mind them so much. And "Silver Spoons" is one of my least liked shows on the schedule.

In fact, all the 1980's sitcoms could be dropped in favor of earlier decades and i'd be a very happy viewer.

I just did a search on that channel and see it's only available through cable. Bummer. I would've tuned into that and the days of paying for TV for me are long over.

I'm limited to what's playing over my rabbit ear antenna, but found a Daniel Boone marathon playing on Decades channel. Never saw or even heard of the show before, but I like it.

The Daniel Boone marathon is actually a Decades binge, but it’s too bad you don’t have cable (like I do) and only have an antenna.

Cable is just BEGGING me to come back with offers of $21.99/month and pick my own channels. I just laugh and toss the mailings into the trash. I grew up in the days when TV was totally free and to charge for it imo is absurd.

Thankfully most of the classic channels are over the air and what I don't get, I can just buy the DVD's of the shows.

I just wish some of the unnecessary channels would be removed from our TV package and that we would get premium channels along with new ones.

They're having Home Improvement marathons the next two Saturdays too! Very exciting for a Home Improvement fan from Southeast Michigan like myself.

EDIT: Apparently Up is doing this every Saturday. Kind of a lack of variety imo

I'm not much of a Silver Spoons fan either. I'm not partaking in the marathon today. I really wouldn't want a whole day of Father knows best though. I think a variety / an assortment of all the Antenna shows that have Father's In them would be cool Not just stick with one show the whole day!

I will take Silver Spoons over Father Knows Best any day. FTB hogged the Father's Day marathon for years, it is nice to have a different show for a change.

This! UP really does need to get more family friendly shows like HI.

Pick your own channels? What company is offering that? 90% of what Comcast has, I don't care about.
