Default Real McCoy

In 1995 a song called Another Night was a hit on the music charts that marked the debut of a group called Real McCoy and Another Night became one of the most popular dance songs of the 90's. After the success of Another Night Real McCoy also had a hit with their second single Run Away and hits with covers of Ooh Boy and Come And Get Your Love before releasing their second album in 1997 and had a hit with the song One More Time. It's a shame that you don't see bands like Real McCoy today because the 90's had great dance music

I liked Real McCoy in the 1995-1997 era, especially "Run Away", "Another Night", "Come and Get Your Love", and "One More Time". It was later revealed that the female singers were miming to vocals provided by Karin Kasar.

While the group had some great dance songs, I feel as though faking the vocals was pretty ironic for a group calling itself Real McCoy.

I didn't know Real McCoy sang a cover of Come And Get Your Love until I listened to it on Youtube and I associate that song with Guardians Of The Galaxy and the character Star Lord. I had always wanted Real McCoy's album Another Night because I liked the title track but whenever I would find the album in the thrift shops the copies were always scratched. It would sure be cool if Real McCoy could make a comeback because their music was neat

I finally got my copy of Real McCoy's Another Night album for Christmas and then I also got their second album One More Time as well. As I listened I discovered some interesting facts about Real McCoy that I didn't know about until I read the liner notes of the albums. Real McCoy consists of three singers named O-Jay who's real name is Olaf a girl named Patsy and a singer named Vanessa Mason. O-Jay is the one who performs the speaking parts of the songs while the two girls share vocals on the songs. Sadly Patsy left Real McCoy and was replaced by a girl named Lisa for the One More Time album. But I was impressed with Real McCoy's dance sound and their cover of Come And Get Your Love is my favorite song ever

They definitely had enjoyable dancing music!

Lately, O-jay has been touring with Karin, the real voice of the first album. She's still got it.

RM were similar to Ace of Base, but AOB is still releasing albums, even scoring big hits.

The 90s certainly had the best dance music! I enjoyed Real McCoy, and other Euro-Dance groups of the same genre such as Corona, Le Click, Playahitty, Snap, Technotronic, N-Trance, et. al.

That music brings back some great memories!

Wow, that music was so much fun. Planning on listening to many of those artists today to remember when the world was fun & full of hope & forget about the wretched year of 2020!

Hi, Bestie! Real McCoy did a good cover of "Come and get your love" But I still like the original the best. But when it comes to danceable music, they are very good and underrated.

Here are O-Jay and Karin performing "Another Night" a few years back. They were amazing on stage together!

(Unfortunately, I have heard that Patsy Petersen passed on due to Covid. I haven't been able to confirm this, but there are many YouTube commenters saying this. Read with caution and take with a grain of salt).
