This is my third attempt to stimulate some conversation on this board during this sitting. My first was on the "Friends" page and my second was on "Gimme a Break!" You see, on the W.B. 11, at six-thirty this evening, there was the syndicated episode of "Friends" called "The One Where Rachel Smokes". This episode was very similar to the sixth-season episode of this series called "Where There's Smoke". As a lot of you probably remember, in this episode, Arnold and his friend Dudley gave into peer pressure to start smoking. You see, throughout the seventies, eighties and nineties, there were dozens of episodes of shows that dealt with the issue of how bad it is to smoke. Another show that had an episode like this was "Gimme a Break!". When I first sat down, I started a thread on the "Friends" page called "Channel 11". That is because this is the syndication channel that this episode was on. I then went to the "Gimme a Break!" page and started one called "Beautiful Bodies". This was in regards to the effects of cigarette smoke going into the beautiful bodies of Rachel from "Friends" and Julie from "Gimme a Break!". I would be very interested in what anyone here thinks of either of these posts.
