Default Revamping ABC's Fall Schedule with Roseanne Ousted

Here is what I would do to revise the fall schedule now.

Sunday
7:00 America's Funniest Home Videos
8:00 Schooled (The Goldbergs spin-off)- I thought about putting it after the parent show but figured it would be a stronger anchor for a new night than Single Parents.
8:30 Fresh off the Boat
9:00 Dancing with the Stars Junior
10:00 The Alec Baldwin Show

Tuesday
8:00 Speechless
8:30 The Kids Are Alright
9:00 Black-Ish
9:30 Splitting Up Together- If Schooled is not ready for a fall premiere the Sunday comedy hour would not happen for now. SUT would be benched and Fresh Off the Boat comes here.
10:00 The Rookie

Wednesday
8:00 The Goldbergs
8:30 Single Parents- Goldbergs is a better launching pad than fast aging Modern Family now.
9:00 Modern Family
9:30 American Housewife
10:00 Station 19

Thursday
8:00 Grey's Anatomy
9:00 A Million Little Things- take advantage of the GA lead-in while it is still around. A Million Little Things would have a lot better chance of success here than airing after another new show on Wednesday.
10:00 How to Get Away with Murder

Friday- the big mistake of putting comedies against ABC's former Friday anchor can be fixed. Although I could see FOX moving Last Man Standing and The Cool Kids to Tuesdays at 8:00 with not having to face Roseanne now.
8:00 Child Support
9:00 Shark Tank
10:00 20/20

Mondays would remain the same.

Sunday:

8pm: DWTS Junior
9pm: Shark Tank
10: The Alec Baldwin Show

Monday:

8pm: Dancing With The Stars

10pm: The Good Doctor

Tuesday:

8pm: Speechless (I'd put Speechless back on Tuesdays at 8; nothing they schedule here will get the ratings that Roseanne was going to get, and it's useless to think otherwise. At least this gives a show with a loyal fanbase a chance to shine)
830: Splitting Up Together (this relative newbie could do worse than be squeezed between two established shows.)
9pm: Black-Ish
930: Schooled
10: The Rookie

Wednesday:

8p: The Goldbergs
830: American Housewife
9: Modern Family
930: The Kids Are Alright (this show could be a big hit and needs the boost of having a MF lead-in.)
10: A Million Little Things

Thursday:

8pm: Grey's Anatomy

9pm: Station 19

10pm: How to Get Away with Murder -- (Obviously they aren't touching Thursday nights; Shonda Rhimes owns this night and they won't mess with that.)

Friday:

8pm: Fresh Off The Boat
830: Single Parents (this show looks like a dud anyway, put it on Friday nights and let is die an early death.)
9: Child Support
10: 20/20

Tuesday
8:00 Goldbergs (or Schooled) Goldbergs is established and would be a stronger lead-in for TKAA. The advantage to placing Schooled here would be that it wouldn't risk Wednesday stability in order to try to salvage Tuesday.
8:30 The Kids Are Alright
9:00 black-ish
9:30 Splitting Up Together

8:00 Schooled- In theory could maintain a decent chunk of the audience who watched The Goldbergs in this time-slot
8:30 American Housewife
9:00 Modern Family
9:30 Single Parents

If something flops, you can place The Middle spin-off that's being fast-tracked for mid-season.

I'm still campaigning for Roseanne reboot/rebrand.

Me too. The show was great while it lasted. And while it was the reboot, everyone really just considers it Season 10 because it's more like a continuation than a successor. Maybe like people have been saying, they'll spinoff the show but Roseanne would likely sue like Valerie Harper did on The Hogan Family. And win.
