Default The Youngest One in Curls But Never in Curlers

It's interesting that Cindy ALWAYS wore had her hair in those sausage curls with the 'plastic dingle balls' holding them in them place next to her skull- even when she was supposed to be asleep or camping yet NEVER was seen in curlers or wearing her hair loose in bed (at least while she had that style).

Ironically, Alice was the only female in the Brady household who actually wore curlers and face cream while sleeping instead of having to sleep in full makeup and pristine hair so I guess her job had some perks even if those were solely for comic relief.

Marcia was wearing curlers when she was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. It was the episode about her braces. Cindy was in the bathroom with her, and she asked Marcia "How do you get that toothpaste through all that barbed wire"?

Wawwie,

Missed that one. Well, Cindy, Jan and even Mrs. Brady never looked anything less than camera ready with pristine makeup and hair when they were supposed to be sleeping. Alice was better off than the others (even with Marcia's onetime lapse).

Yeah , that was funny !!! That episode was not very kind to Marcia's looks !!

Good ! I get tired of her always being portrayed as such a wonderful, beautiful princess! It was good to see her when she wasn't looking so good!!

I know right?? How could anyone sleep with pigtails in the sides of their heads like that? How uncomfortable!!

I grew up in that time period . I'm around the same age as Cindy. I had my hair in pigtails a lot , but they were always taken out/down when I went to bed !!

Well, then there's this lovely picture of the dysfunctional one looking silly and irritated all at once. Apparently only the sisters who didn't wear curls all the time used curlers...

I also wore my hair in pigtails like Cindy's with the plastic ball pigtail holders in the early '70s, only not curled, they were just straight. Not only did I not sleep with them in, they pulled your hair and hurt if you wore them constantly and those little ball things were like weapons if you pulled back on the elastic somehow and accidentally pinged your head with the little plastic ball. Ouch!

LOL, I was watching that at the same time on Antenna TV and I noticed them too. She also had on her gaucho pants and roller skates. Took me right back to 1976, although by then I was in the 6th grade and no longer wearing pigtails with plastic ball pigtail holders. I did have gaucho pants and roller skates, though.

Susan/Cindy did appear in curlers at least once. I think this may be from episode #46

The ep.where Bobby was upset because he hadn't won any trophies and entered the ice cream eating contest? I just saw that one last Sunday or maybe the Sunday before ?

I was thinking how long Cindy's hair actually was if it wasn't all curled up like it was! I hated that as a kid, when my Mom would put curlers in my hair and it made my hair look shorter !!

Yes, I think that's the one (but I'm not 100% sure).

Its shame Anissa Jones never got to do a Brady style TVM in the eighties. Though I agree that I can’t see Anissa ever reprising Buffy, no matter what the fee.

Wasn't she shown curling her hair in the episode Mrs. Howell was in? When they sang the Good Ship Lollipop?
