Does anybody know a chain of restuarants known as Cracker
Barrel? Well, we were eating at a Cracker Barrel in St. Charles,
MO, and had just gone outside to sit in the rocking chairs when
a young man about 25 grabbed a woman's purse and took off
with it with the husband chasing him behind the restuarant and
behind an apartment complex. The young man left the purse
somewhere in the area of the apartment complex and the police
found the purse but they could not locate the suspect. I myself
was a witness to this unfortunate incident.

Sorry you had to witness such a crime, gbscott. I saw a woman get mugged of her purse when I was in Florence, Italy, a few years back. Some bystanders managed to catch up to the thief, who ended up dropping the purse. The woman, who was Japanese, was quite traumatized by the whole thing!
