Default Tvshowsondvd is down

It has been down since Thursday. It is really aggravating as I can’t see new release announcements.

Still down. Hoping this doesn't last much longer.

Maybe the site is having a restructure or redesign, and that's why it's been down for several days.

It could also be that the site has been shut down. If that's what it is, they should just say so instead of saying the site is down for maintenance and to check back later. Sounds fishy/mysterious to me.

Whatever it is, will just have to wait and see if it comes back. I hope it does because I use it too for TV DVD news.

I sure hope there isn’t a shutdown...

They said on Twitter it's just maintenance and it should be back soon. It would've been a good time to be up considering the news of Step by Step Season 1 coming from Warner Archive next month!

I've noticed it, also. They've been around for years--strange it never happened before.

I hope when they restructure it, they change it so you can search for a past review without having to go thru the whole alphabet. Really annoying.

^I just hope that if it does change, it's not hard to navigate on a mobile device.

I liked the old layout just fine.

I'm a skeptical person so I'll believe the site is on line again if/when it happens. It's been down since the 17th, today is the 22nd, that's a long time for "maintenance". The least they could do is post an update on the Twitter page, but that hasn't happened either, so yeah I'm skeptical.

When I lived in Chicago, there was a neighborhood restaurant I liked. One Friday afternoon I went there to get some food and was surprised to find the place was closed. There was a sign posted on the door that said, sorry we're closed for the weekend, will reopen on Monday. I thought that was strange for them to close on the weekend which is their busiest time. So I went there on Monday and sure enough the place had gone out of business, there were work people inside taking things apart and dismantling the place.

So now when I see anything that says, temporarily closed, check back later, I'm very skeptical.

It is very strange, and coincides with the decline of DVD releases. I think the site is owned by TV Guide. We'll see what happens...

It's the first website I check every morning... even before my social media sites lol. Hope it comes back soon.

If TV Guide owns it, maybe they decided to shut it down. At this current time, I'm just going to assume that the site is shut down and will consider it a pleasant surprise if it returns.
