Lyle Talbot as Mr. Dennison on Party Invitation. Wonder if he pitched his son for a role in the show, and was successful in getting him the role of Gilbert Gates/Harrison/Bates.

I wonder if Stephen bragged to the other kids on the show that his dad was in Plan 9 From Outer Space.

Well, we can be pretty sure he didn't brag about him being on Ozzie and Harriet!

I’m sure Lyle said he had a son who would be great on the show. As Stephen got older he looked like his father. Love Plan 9 From Outer Space.

In that article by Stephen Talbot, posted on here before, I remember he said that his parents wanted him to just be a kid, but he constantly told them he wanted to work, so they didn't refuse him.

Lyle was a very busy actor. I'm currently watching the Superman movie serial "Atom Man Vs. Superman" and Lyle Talbot plays a bald headed Lex Luthor and the masked Venus Man too! He was good in Ozzie & Harriet but I didn't like the way he was constantly walking all over Ozzie, Ozzie was such a weak Willie he could never say no to anyone and Lyle always took advantage if this.
