Nodsmiley CA on MeTV

I saw a commercial last while watching Batman announcing Charlie's Angels is returning to MeTV.

There was no starting date, just "coming soon", the theme song and the red and black silhouette bumper logo.

I cannot find anything about it on the MeTV website yet.

Thanks Opus. Just sweep around me, I'll catch up!

I was jazzed to see the commercial on MeTV last night, I just wanted to make sure I let the CA fans here know about it.

It actually wouldn't be "returning" to Me-TV, as they've never aired it before (nationally, anyway; don't know about when it was still a local Chicago channel). Cozi TV last aired it.

I guess I'm confusing it with Cozy or TV Land.

Whatever the station, I've haven't seen CA on tv in my area in a long time.

I know I should not look a gift horse in the mouth, but one thing that bothers me about Me-TV is they tend to edit minutes out to add more commercials. Anyone else notice this? It's very noticeable with shows like CA, Star Trek, MASH and Lost In Space because I know those shows so well.

Just about every station edits the shows. I think it is because you know the show too well. It used to happen with me when reruns of Three's Company and Dallas aired.

Yeah, just about every station edits shows. MeTV isn't as bad as other stations when it comes to that though, even showing some shows uncut (Mama's Family being an example, and WKRP has full-length episodes with music cuts), but Viacom stations that show old TV shows are much worse when it comes to editing.

Yes, but there is one exception I've discovered... Heroes & Icons (H&I). They show Star Trek from 8pmEST to 12PM. This station does edit episodes.

I wish they'd air the pilot movie. I actually watched that movie when it first aired. That's how I knew I would love the show. The only problem was when the show premiered it came on at 10:00 and that was my bedtime so I couldn't really watch the show that first year only during the summer repeats. lol

10pm was also my bedtime. I remember when I heard the Carol Burnett ending theme song music, it was bedtime. I still feel that way when I hear it today. Maybe I should listen to that instead of taking a sleeping pill.
